More than 7 days before arrival: No cancellation fees apply.
Less than 7 days before arrival: A penalty charge of 20% of your booking value will be applied.
No-show: 100% of your booking value will be charged.
Payments: All payments are processed in Greece by Yolo8 Rent a Car. Your credit card statement will reflect this.
Timing: Deliveries and collections outside office hours (between 21:30 and 07:30) are possible.
Fee: €25.00 (fixed fee).
Pickups and drop-offs are available at airports, hotels, and ports upon prior arrangement.
We accept Debit Cards, VISA, MasterCard, and Cash.
Vehicles are rented for use only within Crete and only on public asphalt roads.
Strictly prohibited:
Off-road driving.
Driving on dirt roads or beaches.
Important Notes:
Any damage to the underside of the vehicle or wheels caused by negligent or off-road use is at your own risk.
Drunk driving or driving under the influence of substances is considered negligent use and is not covered by insurance.
Drivers must be 23 years or older.
The renter is responsible if the car is driven by anyone not listed in the rental contract.
Additional drivers can be added at an extra charge of €3.00 per day per driver.
Our vehicle keys are chip-coded and expensive to replace.
Replacement cost: Approximately €80.00–€100.00 depending on the car model.
Additional transport and service charges may apply.
Important: If the car is stolen and the keys are not returned, insurance will be void.
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as noted in the rental contract at pickup.
If the fuel level is lower upon return, a surcharge will apply based on current market fuel prices.
If the customer adds more fuel by mistake, no refund will be given for the extra fuel.
Please be careful when refueling to match the original fuel level.
Our insurance covers full protection, except in the following cases:
Damage caused by poor road conditions (especially to the underside and wheels) is at the renter’s risk.
In Crete, strong winds are common. Always hold the car doors firmly when opening to prevent wind damage.
In the event of an accident where the renter is at fault, the police must be called immediately. If not, insurance coverage may be lost.
Insurance is not valid if the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
